Hydrant Cup at Queen's Park

The Vancouver Canucks alumni are coming to Queen’s Park Arena to play in the seventh annual Hydrant Cup hockey game.

The event, put on by the New Westminster Firefighters Charitable Society to support local charities, will feature ex-Canucks Cliff Ronning, Jyrki Lumme and Richard Brodeur playing for the alumni. New Westminster resident Bill Ranford, who won two Stanley Cups playing for the Edmonton Oilers and played 647 games in the NHL will also suit up for the alumni as they go up against the New Westminster Firefighters on Friday, Nov. 30, starting at 7 p.m.

There will also be an outdoor barbecue, jazz band and other activities. Tickets and $10 family passes are available at the Glenbrook fire hall or Queen’s Park Arena. For more information call 604-519-1000.
