Editorial misses the mark
I agree with your assessment of the consequences of shopping out of province/country. But your editorial missed the mark regarding the “why” of it all. Canadians, British Columbians and Lower Mainland residents are taxed to death!
What discretionary spending we have left over from all of our greedy governments with their hands in our pockets, we spend very, very carefully.
Your editorial also missed the mark stating we line up for a 14 per cent savings. Factor in the fact every single Canadian fills up their tanks before entering B.C. and the savings skyrocket.
