Stanley Cup tours New Westminster with Bill Ranford
The NewsLeader's Mario Bartel joined New West resident and L.A. Kings goalie coach Bill Ranford on Thursday as he had some time with the Stanley Cup in his home town. The general public had time to see the cup at the Glenbrook fire hall in the afternoon, and Bartel got to see the cup's journey in the morning as Ranford visited some friends and favourite businesses. This is Ranford's second cup with the Kings. He also won two cups with the Edmonton Oilers, in 1988 and 1990.
