Sapperton Thrifty Foods conversion starts

The conversion of Thrifty Foods in Sapperton will begin Wednesday at midnight and will reopen as a Save-On-Foods store Saturday.

Although the store will close for three days, Overwaitea Foods announced the pharmacy will continue to operate during the renovations "to ensure continuity of patient care."

The same staff and management team will remain at the Sapperton location.
