Pedestrian in hospital after getting hit at Sixth and Sixth
A 25-year-old woman is in Royal Columbian Hospital with life-threatening injuries after getting struck by a vehicle while walking at the intersection of Sixth Street and Sixth Avenue late Monday evening.
New Westminster police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the collision about 10:30 p.m. and was interviewed by investigators. Officers stayed at the scene all night and continued with the investigation Tuesday.
