Donation Day for RCH
A radio-thon to raise funds for Royal Columbian Hospital as it gets set to celebrate its 150th birthday will be held all day on CKNW on Tuesday.
The radio station, which formerly was based in New Westminster before moving to Downtown Vancouver, will open its lines for Donation Day starting at 8:30 a.m. beginning with the Bill Good Show.
The RCH Foundation will put the contributions toward its $1.5 million equipment campaign. Donations can be made by calling 604-310-4000 or by contacting RCHF at 604-520-4438, or rchcares.com.
"On October 2, we will be reaching out to the whole of B.C. No donation is too big or too small. Each gift helps us inch closer to our $1.5 million goal to buy priority equipment for RCH this year," said foundation president and CEO Adrienne Bakker in a press release.
