Police look to identify possible sexual assault witness
New Westminster police's major crime unit is asking for the public's assistance to identify a man who may have witnessed a sexual assault.
On Monday, Feb. 6, video cameras at the Petrocan station at Canada Way and 10th Avenue in Burnaby captured the male who police say may unknowingly witnessed a sexual assault on the New Westminster side of 10th.
Anyone who can identify him should contact Det. Cst. Chad Johnston or Sgt. Rob Boyd at 604-525-5411. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can contact the NWPD tip line at 604-529-2430 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
