Sexual assault outside NWSS

A woman was sexually assaulted outside New Westminster secondary Monday evening according to police.

At about 8:30, the woman parked her vehicle in the parking lot off of Eighth Street and when she got out she was confronted by a man who pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her, said New Westminster police.

The man is described as being in his 40s, short stocky build with short dark hair and wearing a camouflage jacket.
