Aragon amenity to help out QCC hub

The latest amenity contribution of $100,000 from Port Royal Village Developments will go toward supporting an early childhood development hub in Queensborough.
The city is proposing to put $50,000 toward new equipment for Meagan's Place playground, $40,000 for furnishings and equipment for the child care facility and pre-school program at Queensborough Community Centre (QCC), $5,000 for outdoor storage at QCC, and $5,000 on resource material.
Lenny Moy, owner of Aragon Development Corporation, presented the cheque to council Monday to coincide with the issuance of a building permit for a 22-storey, 164-unit residential project.
