Ellam named interim DPAC chair

Don Ellam was declared interim chair of the New Westminster District Parent Advisory Council on Monday after MaryAnn Mortensen announced that she would be taking a leave of absence from that position in order to consider running for school trustee, according to DPAC past chair Paul Johansen. Mortensen nominated Johansen for interim chair but he turned it down due to work obligations. The secretary Chris Stier nominated Ellam, who is president of the PAC at Tweedsmuir.
