MP Fin Donnelly presents 9,000-signature petition in Ottawa against open-net fish farms

A 9,000-signature petition calling on Ottawa to take action against open-net fish farms in B.C. was presented in Parliament Monday by New Westminster-Coquiltam-Port Moody MP Fin Donnelly. The petition is in addition to the Wild Salmon Protection Act bill introduced by Donnelly last May. It would require fish farms to move from harmful open-net pens to safe, closed containment systems.
