NFP animation coming to New Westminster library
The National Film Board will be bringing Get Animated!, it's annual cross-Canada celebration of animation to New Westminster next month.
The tour of many of the country's finest and funniest animated films is in honour of International Animation Day on Oct. 28. This year's showcase, which is free, includes a troubled young vampire and a six-year-old who collects sounds.
New releases will be shown at New Westminster Public Library on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. The next day there will be a family program at 3:30 and 8 p.m., with a hands-on animation workshop for 9 to 12 year olds at 3:30 and another for 13-and-older at 6:30 p.m.
Pre-registration for the free workshops can be done by calling 604-527-4667.
