NWPD Pipe Band to compete in Glasgow
The New Westminster Police Department Pipe Band will participate in the world championships in Glasgow, Scotland on Aug. 11.
The band, under the direction of Pipe Major Angus MacPherson and lead drummer Cam Dodson, will compete in the Grade 2 level, in which they are the current North American champions. The band has placed in the top four six times and never lower than eighth.
