Vocal jazz workshop at Massey
The Royal City Musical Theatre will have a vocal jazz workshop with performer Steve Maddock at the Massey Theatre on Sunday, July 22 from 1 to 4 p.m.
"Whether I'm performing onstage in a musical, singing in a concert hall with a 65-piece orchestra, or playing in a small club with a trio or quartet, my approach remains the same and always reflects my jazz training," said Maddock in a press release.
He went on to say the workshop will look at how a modified jazz approach can open up the mind and the ears resulting in a heightened sense of awareness and overall musicianship.
