Tapistry features a world of tap dance at Massey Theatre
West Coast Tap Dance Collective presents Tapistry, the 10th annual international Tap Day celebration at Massey Theatre May 19.
Tapistry will feature some of the best dancers in North America, both amateur and professional, all coming together for one night to celebrate the art of tap dancing and the anniversary of the West Coast Tap Dance Collective.
The event usually honours a legendary tap icon, but this year’s show will pay tribute to all of the previous honourees.
Tapistry will celebrate the past, present and future of tap by bringing together dancers of all ages and styles, from percussive and Broadway to Irish and Jewish.
