Fong's works on display at New Westminster gallery
A showing of Chinese brush paintings by Burnaby artist Eileen Fong depicting many bird scenes is on exhibit at the Arts Council of New Westminster gallery in Queen's Park until March 31.
The show, titled A Moment of Appreciation 2, is mainly of acrylic paintings from local scenes, such as owls at Boundary Bay and Eagles in Harrison Mills, and those she's come across on her summer trips to Yosemite and Jasper parks.
A reception for the showing will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2 to 4 p.m. For more visit her website at www.eileenfong.com.
