Tiles for tots at Royal Columbian Hospital
Royal Columbian Hospital has established a commemorative wall in the maternity and neonatal intensive care unit for parents and relatives of babies born there to honour their little one and raise money for the RCH Foundation and the hospitals maternity programs.
Individuals can choose from six baby tile designs done by illustrator Issie Heikkilä and then personalize it with their baby's name, date of birth and birth weight. There are also three sizes to choose from.
A virtual "Your Bundle of Joy" wall is also being built on Facebook. With a $10 donation, participants can submit a photo of their baby while $2 will get them a chance to vote on their favourite baby photo. The photo that gets the most nationals will win a tile on the RCH wall.
