River Market busker auditions

The River Market is looking to liven up its atmosphere by adding entertainment to the menu on weekend afternoons with buskers.

The market will hold busker auditions on Nov. 9 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Applications for the auditions are being taken up until Nov. 5. When they audition they'll get up to five minutes to convince a panel of adjudicators and members of the public they are worthy of performing in the market.

The market is looking for a variety of musical material from the buskers, who will be judged on ability, stage presence, entertainment value andappropriateness.

For more information or to apply go to rivermarket.busker-rotation.
