Browns Socialhouse to open in New Westminster's Brewery District

Browns Socialhouse, a chain of restaurants in B.C., will open a new location in the Brewery District, the development's owners, Wesgroup Properties, has announced.

Browns bills itself as a hybrid of upscale casual dining and a neighbourhood pub, and plans to offer 93 seats inside and 56 seats on an open-air patio.

It will be on East Columbia Street in New Westminster's Sapperton neighbourhood, on the ground floor of the newly constructed building that will house the new TransLink and Transit Police headquarters.

Browns plans to open its doors mid-2013.
