New deli opens at Donald's
A successful Italian deli on Vancouver’s Commercial Drive has set up a counter in Donald’s Market at New Westminster’s River Market.
La Grotta del Formaggio was established in 1979 and is known for its cheese, cured meats, olives, oils and Italian sandwiches. The counter will also include soups and stews from Liquids & Solids, and coffee from the Commercial Drive Coffee Co.
“It’s a good fit,” said Sandra Bruzzese of La Grotta. “In East Vancouver we’re all about small, independent business, and we support each other.”
