Sapperton's Brewery District wins UDI award
The Brewery District has won an Urban Development Institute (UDI) Pacific Region award.
The UDI named Building Two at Brewery District winner of the best commercial/retail/office space award. It is the first of eight building in the district being developed by Wesgroup Properties, "and has brought much-needed retail amenities to the neighbourhood," said the UDI release.
It also pointed out 95 per cent of the retail in leased and 75 per cent of the strata office space sold.
The 275,000 square foot Phase 2 is currently under construction. It will include new headquarters for TransLink and Transit Police.
