New Westminster CEO to get Diamond Jubilee medal
Michael Hrybyk, a resident of New Westminster's West End and president/CEO of BCNET, will receive a Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee medal from the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance and the i-Canada Alliance.
The medals will be presented to 38 individuals for their impact on society and business through technology at a ceremony to be held in Montreal on Sunday, Oct. 21.
BCNET is a non-profit organization that works with post-secondary institutions on technology research, education and innovation. It is based at Simon Fraser University's Downtown Vancouver centre.
